Ballin’ on a Budget

The Cambridge Dictionary online defines a baller as “a successful person, especially one who is rich, lives well, and buys expensive things.”

I enjoy the finer things in life, but I’m not rich, and I don’t feel comfortable spending a lot of money on things/objects. I want to look and feel like a celebrity without breaking the bank.

I notice that when I buy a luxury item like an expensive pair of sunglasses, watch, jacket, or shoes, I hardly wear it due to my desire to protect it from the wear that inevitably comes with actually using it. I save it for those special enough occasions that rarely come. Instead, I feel more comfortable adding it to my museum of stuff that makes me happy to have in my collection but I find too precious to wear.

Throughout this blog, I will be providing you with recommendations of products that I have found are equivalent or in some cases even surpass the quality of those luxury, expensive products, but are available at affordable prices. I will only be recommending products that I believe in and use or have bought myself.

I invite you to join me on this sartorial journey as we upgrade our wardrobe and lifestyle and let more joy into out lives.
